Mog or Die Bounty Guide

Read Mog or Die bounty targets, prepare a four-stat hunt, verify settlement, and separate bounty rewards from MOG and King outcomes.

Mog or Die officially invites players to hunt people with large bounties. The public description does not explain how a bounty grows, where it appears, who receives credit, whether assists count, or what the reward contains. Treat the live bounty marker as a target contract: identify it, read the conditions, prepare the run, and verify the settlement.

Find a real bounty target

Check the leaderboard, player nameplates, HUD tracker, map, or any bounty panel for a numeric value or explicit label. Match the marker to the player name before moving. A crown can indicate MOG KING rather than bounty; a glowing avatar can come from an Ability, Genetics, Finisher, or event.

Record the target, displayed bounty, server, and UTC time. If the value changes while you watch, note the action that happened immediately before it. Do not infer the entire growth formula from one increase.

Avoid links or chat messages that claim to reveal hidden high-bounty servers. Joining through the official Experience is enough. Never provide account credentials or install a script to track players.

Decide whether the hunt is worth the run

Compare all four stats and the current situation. Height, Face, Frame, and Bodyfat are used in MOG BATTLES, and lower Bodyfat is the advertised direction. A large reward target may also have a stronger run, useful Ability, favorable Genetics, or King status.

Value your own run: time invested, active 2× Progress, Golden collectible, unclaimed reward, and any unlock whose reset boundary is unclear. A bounty amount is only worthwhile when the live UI identifies the reward and you can accept being MOGGED if you lose.

Watch for other hunters. Several players may converge on the same target, and public sources do not establish assist credit. A clean one-on-one challenge gives clearer settlement evidence than a crowded chase.

If the game uses a special bounty objective instead of an ordinary battle, follow its displayed instructions. Do not assume the SPARE/MOG flow applies until the result screen shows it.

Separate MOG, bounty, and King rewards

Choosing MOG after a win officially grants MogPoints. A bounty may add a separate reward, and defeating a MOG KING may transfer another status. Capture all three fields before and after the result. Otherwise, one balance change cannot show which system paid it.

If you choose SPARE, check whether the bounty settles anyway. The public description does not say whether the fate choice is part of the bounty condition. A controlled test should use a willing target with a run both players are prepared to preserve or lose.

If another hunter lands the decisive action, record whether you receive credit, partial credit, or nothing. Do not describe an assist rule from proximity alone.

How bounties may change

The public description confirms large bounties but not their source. They could relate to wins, MOG choices, time, King status, objectives, or another current mechanic. Only add a cause after comparing the displayed value immediately before and after one repeatable action.

Record decreases as carefully as increases. Being defeated, being MOGGED, changing server, losing King status, or natural settlement may affect the marker. One server closure cannot distinguish between those causes.

Because the feature is server-facing, a bounty may not follow the same target into another server. Check identity and value again after any rejoin rather than continuing an old hunt record.

Common bounty mistakes

Chasing the crown icon

Confirm a bounty value or label. MOG KING is related competition but not automatically the same objective.

Ignoring the other hunters

Plan an exit and expect contested space. Assist and last-hit rules are not public.

Assuming the payout

Record balances and inventory. A large displayed bounty does not prove a one-to-one MogPoints reward.

Risking a boosted run

Decide whether the target evidence is worth losing stats, Genetics, or a timed collection window.

Bounty FAQ

Where do bounties appear?

The public description does not name the UI. Check current leaderboards, nameplates, trackers, and challenge prompts for an explicit bounty value.

How do I increase my own bounty?

No official public rule is available. Record one action and the marker before/after rather than copying an unsupported formula.

Does a bounty pay MogPoints?

MOG is the confirmed MogPoints action. A bounty’s exact reward must be verified separately on the live settlement screen.

Source and confidence

Hunting players with large bounties is Official, checked August 27, 2026. Visibility, growth, credit, payout, reset, and server-scope rules need in-game testing.
